Thirty years of patience, calluses, and an unyielding belief that a well-made piece of furniture is one of the finest things a person can own.
Each piece shown here was commissioned, hand-built, and delivered to a home where it will live for generations. Hover any image to explore — click for details.
"Estimates are a rough cut from a digital tool, my word is the finish grade. With 30 years at the bench, I've learned to sharpen my pencil before I start."
— The MakerA great commission starts with a real conversation. Describe what you're dreaming of — rough sketch, magazine tear-out, or just words. I'll take it from there.
I read every message myself and reply within two days — never an auto-responder.
The quote you receive is the price you pay. No hidden costs, no material surcharges.
Joinery and finish selected for decades of use — not years.
I've had a lot of furniture over the years. This dining table is the first piece I've ever bought that I genuinely believe my grandchildren will be eating off of.
The attention to detail is something you have to see in person to appreciate. He noticed things about the wood I never would have — and turned them into features, not flaws.
Three years in, the desk still looks like the day it was delivered. My kids have been using it for homework and it shows no signs of wear. Worth every penny.
If you've commissioned a piece and it's found its place in your home, I'd love to hear about it.

I learned this trade in a garage filled with sawdust and the sound of tools in motion. It was where I first learned how to turn ideas into something real — helping my dad fix things, figuring out how parts fit together, and discovering what you can build when you put your hands to work. Those early days, along with countless hours watching The New Yankee Workshop, taught me that if you're willing to try, you can tackle just about anything.
I still work by that philosophy. No shortcuts. No crews. No assembly line. Every joint, every surface, every piece of hardware is chosen, shaped, and fitted by me. My engineering career sharpens my eye for detail, and my weekends are where that precision meets the grit of handcrafted woodworking.
I love projects that push my skills, stretch my creativity, and — if I'm honest — give me an excuse to add another tool to the collection. Some of my favorite moments are sharing this craft with friends and having little helpers beside me at the bench.
The bench is only part of the story. Four acres of timber, a one-acre licensed fish farm, a John Deere that earns its keep, and a few restoration projects that keep the hands busy year-round.
